FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you offer assistance in getting to Sunday Services?
Yes, we offer ride assistance for visitors from Amite City and the surrounding towns. We do need advance notice, so please fill out our ride request form at least 48 hours in advance.
What should I wear?
There is no specific dress code when attending services at APC. We want you to be comfortable when you visit, so just come as you are!
What should I do when I arrive?
Stop by the hospitality desk in the sanctuary to receive a special gift we have for first time visitors. You can also fill out our guest information form, if you have not already done so.
What are the services like?
Our Sunday Services begin at 10:00am and usually lasts about an hour an a half. We start with praise and worship, then our adult Sunday School lesson. After a short break, we have our main service, which features more praise and worship followed by an engaging and inspiring message. We sometimes host special guest speakers for our main service. Check our Events page for more details.
What about my children?
We have a nursery and Sunday School classes for children and youth. You can meet the attendants beforehand, if you'd like. Of course, you are welcome to keep your children with you, if you prefer.
I've never visited an Apostolic church. What should I expect?
We clap our hands and raise our voices in song and exhortations. We also lift our hands and speak in tongues. To learn more about our core beliefs, visit our About page.
